RYF®, which stands for Remember Your Fit®, is an innovative closure system for ski boots that combines comfort, precision, and adjustment memory. Once set, it maintains the perfect fit throughout the day without the need for constant readjustments.
RYF® is an innovative closure system that evolves from traditional ski boot buckles. It combines the advantages of buckle systems with cable tensioning, making closure easier while ensuring a uniform fit around the foot.
The RYF® closure system follows the same principles across all its versions: precise micrometric adjustment, which differs depending on the technology, and a central buckle that is the heart of the system. The buckle provides additional cable tensioning for a tighter closure, preserves the memory of the chosen fit, and makes step-in and step-out easier.
To release tension, simply open the buckle. With the central buckle open, you can fine-tune the tension using the ratchet lever (in the RYF® Easy) or the winders (in the RYF® Core and RYF® World Cup). Closing the central buckle re-establishes the desired setting.
“Memory Fit” refers to the system’s ability to maintain the chosen closure adjustment unchanged. Thanks to the central buckle, you can open the boot to relieve pressure on the foot and then close it again, returning exactly to the initial fit without needing to reset it each time.
